DUCTED STANDARD INSTALLATION

Standard Installation covers:

  • Installation of the indoor unit in the roof cavity with standard round ceiling diffusers as below:
  1. Up to 6KW – 3 diffusers
  2. Up to 7KW – 4 diffusers
  3. Up to 10KW – 5-7 diffusers
  4. Up to 12KW – 7-9 diffusers
  5. Up to 14KW – 9-11 diffusers
  6. additional diffusers will be quoted separately
  • Installation of the outdoor unit on pavers that are placed on an appropriately levelled surface.
  • 1x wall controller, 1x Hinge filter return air grille, Maximum pipe length 17m, Maximum trunking 4m
  • Penetrations through a timber wall or soffit.
  • Maximum 15m wiring & 4m of conduit to switchboard.
  • Further installation charges may occur for non-standard installation work. It can be quoted after pre-inspection.
  • Commercial installations and homes under construction are not included in the above prices.
  • For Pre-pipe and fit-off installations (newly built), supplementary cost will apply.

NOTE:

  • If installation does not fall under the above terms, then extra charges will be applied to cover labour and material cost.
  • Published prices are valid for regions within 60Km of our office address (Te Kauwhata)
  • For regions more than 60Km travel charges shall apply

 

What is Back-to-Back installation?

Back-to-Back installation means an indoor unit on the inside of the external wall and an outside unit within 3 metres of straight length on the outside. The Outdoor unit is to be placed on a poly slab with mounting feet.

As per the picture above back-to-back installation includes:

  • 3 metres of copper pipes and communication cable between the units
  • PVC trunking to cover the copper piping and wires
  • Isolator switch (weatherproof)
  • 1x PVC end cap
  • 1x Poly slab (900mm X 450mm)
  • Electrical power socket on the same wall (within 3 metres) for small capacity units
  • Electrical cable 10 metres from outdoor unit to switchboard either through under house space or ceiling cavity for large capacity units

NOTE: If installation does not fall under the above terms, extra charges will be applied to cover labour and material costs.
